Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how gDrive Dashboard (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) accesses, uses, stores, and protects your information when you connect it to an AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) as a custom connector or app. The Service is operated by the developer reachable at idrisov.dia@gmail.com.

gDrive Dashboard is a read-only analytics tool: it reads spreadsheets you choose from your Google Drive and generates analytical dashboards (KPIs, charts, written conclusions) on your request inside the AI assistant you connect it to (such as Claude or ChatGPT).

Limited Use disclosure. gDrive Dashboard’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the user-facing analysis features described here, and we do not transfer or sell it to third parties, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except as described below.

1. Information we access

Account identity. When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier and email address (scopes openid, email) to identify your session and keep your data separate from other users.
Only the files you select, read only. With your consent we request the per-file scope drive.file. You choose the specific spreadsheets to share with the Service through the Google Picker; we can read only the metadata and contents of those files you explicitly select. We cannot see, list, or access any other file in your Google Drive, and we do not create, modify, delete, or share your files.

The Service has no access to your Drive beyond the individual files you pick. To analyze a different file, you select it in the Google Picker as well.

2. How we use the information

To read the spreadsheet(s) you reference and compute the analysis (metrics, charts, data-quality checks) you requested.
To generate an HTML/PDF dashboard and return a link to it to you.
To authenticate you and isolate your data from other users.

We do not use your Google data for advertising, profiling, training machine-learning models, or any purpose other than producing the analysis you request.

3. Storage and retention

OAuth tokens. Your Google refresh token is stored encrypted at rest on our server so the Service can act on your behalf for subsequent requests. It is removed when you revoke access (see §6).
Temporary data cache. Parsed spreadsheet contents may be cached briefly to speed up repeat analysis. The cache is keyed to your account, isolated per user, and invalidated automatically when the source file changes in Google Drive.
Generated reports. Dashboards you generate are stored as files accessible via an unguessable link over HTTPS and are deleted automatically after a limited retention period.
We do not maintain a long-term copy of your spreadsheet contents beyond the transient cache and the generated reports described above.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your Google user data with third parties. Data is processed on infrastructure operated for the Service (a virtual server hosted with DigitalOcean) solely to deliver the features above. Your analysis requests and their results are exchanged with the AI platform you chose to connect from — for example Anthropic’s Claude or OpenAI’s ChatGPT — as part of that connector or app; that platform’s handling of your conversation is governed by its own privacy terms (Anthropic’s or OpenAI’s, respectively).

5. Security

All traffic is served over HTTPS (TLS).
Only the per-file drive.file scope is requested; the Service can access only files you explicitly select via the Google Picker, never your whole Drive.
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest; each user’s data and tokens are isolated from other users.
Analysis code runs in a sandboxed environment without network or host filesystem access.

6. Your choices and revoking access

You can revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by removing the connector or app in the AI assistant you used (such as Claude or ChatGPT). After revocation we stop accessing your data and delete the stored token. To request deletion of any retained data, contact us at idrisov.dia@gmail.com.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and is intended for business and professional use.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the Service.
